Ernest Graham, Sr., 77, died on Wednesday, October 26, 1994 in Newport News. He was a native of Brooklyn, New York and a Peninsula resident for 57 years.
Mr. Graham retired from Newport News Shipbuilding in 1980 after 43 years of service. He was a member of Morrison United Methodist Church. He was also a member of the Swingin' Singers of First Baptist Church, Three Rivers Men's Chorus, and the Lafayette Rifle Club.
Survived by his wife, Phyllis D. Graham; a daughter, Ann Morgan of Portsmouth; a son, Alfred E. Graham, Jr. of Jacksonville, Fla., and three granddaughters.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday in Morrison United Methodist Church by the Rev. H. Jack Lynch. Burial will follow in Peninsula Memorial Park. Memorials to Morrison United Methodist Church or your favorite charity. Peninsula Funeral Home in charge.
