Mr. Floyd Lewis, 73, a retired forklift driver with Georgia Pacific, died Friday, Oct. 28, 1994, at his Hertford County home.
Mr. Lewis was a member of First Baptist Church of Murfreesboro.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ollie S. Lewis, of Como, N.C., one daughter, Mrs. Mary R. Outerbridge of Newport News; three sons, Mr. John Lewis of Como, N.C., Mr. Wayne Lewis of Sterling, Va., Mr. Floyd Lewis of Durham, N.C; one sister, Ms. Vivian Lewis; two brothers, Rudolph Lewis and Linwood Lewis, both of Murfreesboro, N.C. ; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held Sunday, Oct. 30 at First Baptist Church of Murfreesboro at 2 p.m., with the Rev. A.M. Williams, pastor, presiding. Burial will be at the Lewis Family Cemetery. Reynolds Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
