Mr. George W. Culpepper, Sr. age 90, died Friday, October 28, 1994, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
Mr. Culpepper was born and raised in Deep Creek, Va., and was a former resident of Williamsburg, Va., for 34 years before moving back to Portsmouth to live with his granddaughter. Mr. Culpepper was a Baptist.
Survived by his sons, Linwood L. Culpepper of Houston, Tx., George W. Culpepper, Jr. of Nevno, Ca., and Wayne C. Culpepper of Brighton, Co.; his sisters, Sophie House of Portsmouth, Va., and Margaret Mountcastle of Va. Beach, Va.; a brother, James Culpepper of Smithfield, Va.; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 1994, at 2 p.m. in Williamsburg Memorial Park, Williamsburg, Va.
The family will be at the home of his granddaughter, Robin Redditt, 3409 Cantebury Dr., Portsmouth, Va.
Bucktrout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
