Lyndall Dunn Browne, 78, of the 1200 block of Earle Ave., a retired deputy treasurer, died Oct. 29, 1994, in her residence.
Mrs. Browne was born in Norfolk County. She retired in 1978 from the city of Chesapeake after 42 years and was a member of Rosemont Christian Church and Daughters of the American Revolution.
Survivors include her husband, Marvin Frederick Browne Sr.; two sons, Marvin F. Browne Jr. of Herndon and Maurice A. Browne of Chesapeake; two sisters, Myrtle Dunn Hayes of Washington, N.C., and Gloria Dunn Ferrell of Chesapeake; two grandchildren, Lynn Browne and Douglas Browne and a great-grandchild, Nathaniel D. Browne, all of Herndon.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Rosemont Christian Church, Chesapeake, by the Rev. Robert Harrell. Burial will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will be at Francis A. Gay Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday and at 1308-A Fairways Lookout, Chesapeake.
