CHARLES R. JOYNER

Charles Ray Joyner, 25, of the 4000 block of Holly Cove Drive died Oct. 27, 1994, at Portsmouth General Hospital.

Mr. Joyner was formerly employed at Norfolk Naval Shipyard, was a member of Third Baptist Church, an usher and a member of the Army Reserve.

Survivors include a daughter, Ashley Joyner; his mother, Laura Joyner; seven sisters, Carolyn Council, Madeline McCleese, Evelyn Ballard, Shirlene Joyner, Patricia Joyner, Brenda Amos and Julia Allmond; five nephews; two nieces; a great-niece; a great-nephew; a loved one, Esterlita Maddox; and several other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Third Baptist Church by the Rev. Joe B. Fleming. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Fisher Funeral Home is handling arrangements. The family will be at the residence. The body will be in the church at 10 a.m.
