Regarding ``Cleaning House . . . and Senate?'' (news, Oct. 23): It is very upsetting to see that three of the four men pictured (Robert Dole, Strom Thurmond, Jesse Helms, Newt Gingrich) would have been forced into retirement, because of their age, if they worked in any other business.
The main focus of their agenda is to stop the president, elected by a majority, from reaching any of the goals he set forth in his campaign. They are out of touch with today's society.
