Owen Pickett is a man of his word and a strong work ethic.
Mr. Pickett commissioned a committee of prominent civilian and military people to save Oceana Air Station. He helped with Lake Gaston and sits on the Armed Services Committee and Merchant Marine, which are vital to our economic structure in Hampton Roads.
Mr. Pickett has always voted for the interests and protection of his constituents. He holds town meetings at his office and answers our questions.
He's a family man, moral and honest and above reproach.
I beseech everyone to vote for Owen Pickett; his voice is making government work for us.

I will be voting for Congressman Owen Pickett because he understands the importance of non-partisan legislation. He has always worked for passage of good legislation, regardless of which party in Congress originates it.
He understands that Congress needs to be reformed, but he also understands that it can only be reformed by non-partisan agreement and compromise in legislation. He has worked hard for those and has been an effective legislator because of it. Let's send him back to Congress.

Owen Pickett has represented the citizens of the 2nd District well and deserves to be sent back to Congress.
Mr. Pickett is his own man. He doesn't vote the party's interest or the president's interest. Owen Pickett votes for what is in the best interest of the people he represents. That's why he gets my vote in November.
