FILOMENA CORIGLIANO

Filomena Corigliano, 79, of the 300 block of Hickory Road, East, died Monday at her residence.

Mrs. Corigliano was born in Fragagnano, Italy, and was the daughter of the late Nazareno and Lucia Corigliano. She was the widow of Giovanni Caruson. She attended the Community Church of Chesapeake.

Survivors include two daughters, Lucia Hazzard of Chesapeake and Anna Maria Caruson of Rome, Italy; two sons, Domenico Caruson of Milan, Italy, and Renato Caruson of Rome, Italy; two sisters, Anna Corigliano of Taranto, Italy and Rosaria Corigliano of Rome, Italy; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday in Community Church of Chesapeake by the Rev. John Wenzel. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Oman Funeral Home, Great Bridge, from 7 to 9 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to the Building Fund of Community Church of Chesapeake.
