Billy Holmes Batts, 60, of the 3700 block of Appalachian Court, died Nov. 1, 1994, in Norfolk.
Mr. Batts was born in Tallassee, Ala., and attended Azalea Garden Church of God, Norfolk. He was the owner of Pro-Guard Security Inc. of Virginia Beach.
Survivors include his wife, Helen D. Batts; four sons, Michael A. Batts, Christopher S. Batts, David H. Batts and John N. Batts, all of Virginia Beach; his father and stepmother, the Rev. Albert H. Batts and Nancy C. Batts of Chattanooga, Tenn.; two sisters, Barbara Bennett of Chattanooga and Patty Myer of Ridgewood, N.J.; four stepsisters, JoAnn Kimsey and Pamela Porter of Chattanooga, Bonnie F. Riggs of Dayton, Tenn., and Glenda G. Bradshaw of Cleveland, Tenn.; and a stepbrother, Roy Eugene Bradshaw of Graysville, Tenn. He was preceded in death by a son, Stuart H. Batts, his mother, Lois L. Batts and his sister, Tommie Carlsson.
A funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. today in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel. Burial will be in Colonial Grove Memorial Park.
