Jesse E. Holman, a retired associate professor of technology at Norfolk State University, died Oct. 31, 1994.
He was a long-time member of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Norfolk.
His other memberships include Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Phi Delta Kappa Professional Organization, American Association of University Professors, American Vocational Association, Institute of Electronic and Electrical Engineers and Hampton Alumni Association.
He received a B.S. degree with honors from Hampton University, and a Master's of Education in electronics from Wayne State University, Detroit, Mich.
Survivors include his wife, Anita B. Rand Holman of Norfolk; one daughter, Patricia E. Skinner of Alexandria, Va.; one sister, Frances Holman of Washington, D.C.; two grandchildren, Jason and Melissa Skinner of Alexandria, Va.; mother-in-law, Eliza B. Smith of Norfolk; son-in-law, John Skinner of Alexandria; and nephew, Percy E. Price of Aiken, S.C.
A funeral service will be held Friday, Nov. 4, 1994 at 2 p.m. in Covenant Presbyterian Church, Norfolk, with the Rev. Octavius Gaba officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be at Hale Funeral Home Chapel Thursday, Nov. 3, from 6 to 8 p.m. and at Covenant Presbyterian Church, Friday, Nov. 4, from noon to 2 p.m.
