Raymon Lee Tillett, 77, of 504 Walnut St., died Tuesday, Nov. 1, 1994.
Mr. Tillett was a native of Elizabeth City and was the retired owner of R.L. Tillett Inc. He was a member of Franklin Baptist Church and its Bruner Bible Class. Mr. Tillett was a member of Woodman of the World.
Survivors include his wife, Janie Gregory Tillett; one daughter, Dolores T. Whitley; one son, Larry D. Tillett, both of Franklin; two sisters, Selma T. Evans of Norfolk and Venie Mae Stewart of Fayetteville, N.C.; one brother, William Tillett of Tioga, La.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
The graveside funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4, 1994, at Poplar Spring Cemetery by Dr. Roy DeBrand and Dr. Ira Hudgins. The family will receive friends at the residence and suggest memorials be made to the Franklin Baptist Church Building Fund. Wright Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
