Marvin Lee Robinson Sr., age 62, of the 1300 block of West 26th St. in Norfolk, died October 28, 1994, at Sentara Leigh Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Robinson was born on July 14, 1932, in Pitt County North Carolina. He retired from the Norfolk Naval Supply Center Bldg. 143 after 35 years of service and Old Dominion University after 5 years of service. He was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church and JP Carter Lodge (NU)195.
Survivors include his wife, Lillie Mae Robinson, of Norfolk; one son, Marvin L. Robinson Jr., of Norfolk, Va.; five daughters, Dana Robinson, Juanita Cromwell, Lucy Robinson, Linda Doman, all of Norfolk, and Edna Snider of Chesapeake. Additional survivors include his faithful pet companion, Commodore.
He has three sisters, Lucy Rowland of Norfolk, Susie Graham of New York, Blanche Baggs of Michigan, a brother, Henry Robinson of Norfolk, 20 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren of Norfolk.
A funeral will be conducted at 12:00 noon November 5, 1994, at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church by the Dr. I. Joseph Williams. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements. The family will be at 1330 West 26th Street, Norfolk.
