Richfood Holdings Inc. reported record earnings of $5.4 million, or 25 cents a share, for the second quarter of fiscal 1995. Figures for the 12-week period ending Oct. 15 were up 21 percent from earnings of $4.5 million, or 21 cents a share, for the same quarter last year. Sales for the quarter were $344.6 million, up 21 percent from sales of $283.3 million for the second quarter of fiscal 1994. The company's recently acquired subsidiary, Rotelle Inc., generated sales of $55.3 million during the period between its acquisition on August 23, 1994 and October 15. The Richmond-based company is the fifth-largest publicly owned wholesale food distributor in the United States. (AP) by CNB
