LET `SIMPLE-MINDED CONSERVATIVES' WIN

I am tired of fighting simple-minded conservatives. Let's just give them the power they so desperately crave.

Let them do whatever they want, e.g., abolish all government aid to the needy (except loans and grants to big business); repeal all legislation pertaining to civil rights and environmental protection; enact laws which will permit open discrimination against even persecution of anyone different from the ruling class or guilty of ``liberal'' thoughts; require by statute church attendance (Christian), prayers in school and at the workplace and strict behavioral adherence to the Bible; increase government control over, and subjugation of, the lower and middle classes through disabling economic deprivations; and abolish the Bill of Rights (except the right to bear arms).

The sooner we allow the conservatives to pursue their agenda, unhindered by reason or compassion, the sooner people might wake up to what is really happening and begin to care about preserving their freedoms. Of course, there's a better than equal chance that people will never realize what's at stake, in which case we will all learn how to goosestep.
