OUR CALLERS have responded to last week's Back Talk question. Here is how they say the next generation following Generation X will fare.
If this is Generation X, I would define the next generation as Generation Y, being its the next letter in the alphabet.
- John Smith, age 22
I think most people think Generation X is the worst generation yet. Look at what this generation has encountered, crime, sex, etc. Actually look at how much more we have to deal with.
- Romy Litkis, 14-year-old, Norfolk Collegiate.
Our generation is experimenting with everything. We're trying to see what will and will not work. We can't do what other generations have done because it won't work. Go back to the others and pick out what has worked and what hasn't and use it. If we work hard and try to do our best, we're going to be the best generation there ever was.
