RUBY L. BENNETT

Ruby Earline Lawrence Bennett, 64, of the 200 block of Mitchell St., died Tuesday, Nov. 1, 1994, at her home.

She was a native of Bertie County, one of the founders of the Bertie County Rescue Squad, a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Rescue Squad and a member of the Cashie Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Ruby B. Davis of Lewiston and Lisa B. Barnes of Jacksons Gap, Ala.; a son, C. Marshall Bennett Jr. of Kitty Hawk; a sister, Pearl L. Schaaf of Halifax; and four grandchildren.

A funeral will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Bertie County Rescue Squad Building. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Walker Funeral Home, Windsor. Memorial gifts may be made to the Bertie County Rescue Squad, Granville St., Windsor, N.C.
