Larry D. Darden, 28, of the 3200 block of Greenwood Drive, died Nov. 1, 1994, in Maryview Medical Center.
Mr. Darden was born in Franklin, Va., and was a former member of New Mount Vernon Baptist Church, Portsmouth.
Survivors include two sons, Rico Darden of Suffolk and Larry D. Hurdle of Portsmouth; his mother, Mary L. Darden of Portsmouth; his father, Roland Chambliss of Franklin; five sisters, Fannie Pope of New Jersey, Bernice Eaton of Washington, D.C., Elaine Darden, Marie Darden and Carolyn Darden, all of Portsmouth; four brothers, Edward Darden, Walter Darden, Melvin Darden and Calvin Darden, all of Portsmouth; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a brother, Bernard Darden.
A funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Corprew Funeral Home by the Rev. Herman Williams. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. Viewing will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
