Ralph T. Dempsey Jr., 82, of the 2900 block of Ingram Court, a retired purchasing agent, died Nov. 2, 1994, in Virginia Beach.
Mr. Dempsey was born in Virginia and was retired from Virginia National Bank. He was a member of Lafayette Presbyterian Church and the widower of Miriam Griffin Dempsey.
Survivors include two daughters, Sharon D. Metro and Barbara D. Monteiro, both of Virginia Beach; a son, Ralph T. Dempsey Jr. of Virginia Beach; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, by Dr. Wilbur Kersey. Burial will be private at a later date. The family will receive friends following the service. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
