William M. ``Dick'' Davis of the 1600 block of Lansing Ave., a retired truck driver, died Nov. 2, 1994, in a local hospital.
Mr. Davis was born in Nansemond County, Va., and was a Baptist. He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service and was an Air Force veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Jeanette Davis; a daughter, Melody Smith of Richmond; a brother, Luther Davis of Bronx, N.Y.; four grandchildren; a son-in-law, Emmett Smith of Richmond; a stepson, Wallace Kee of Silver Spring, Md.; an aunt, Mrs. Louise Williams of Norfolk; two god-children, Wykita and Todd Blake of West Point, Va.; a sister-in-law, Lillie M. Davis of Portsmouth; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Graves Funeral Home, Norfolk. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
