WHAT THIS ELECTION IS ALL ABOUT

This election is not about Oliver North or Chuck Robb. It is about ideas and philosophies. We will vote either for a liberal who believes that Big Brother is the answer or a conservative who believes the American people are the way.

For more than 30 years we have been told that government can solve all of our problems. But after all the programs enacted, the billions of taxes ``contributed,'' are we more prosperous than our parents?

Can we still afford the American Dream?

Do we have fewer people on welfare? Less crime? More freedom?

The liberal policies of the past 30 years have not worked, unless you count the success of turning this country into a nation of whiners, complainers, lawsuit-happy freeloaders, criminals and hostile activists screaming for their own selfish agendas.

Is this the type of country we want? It's the type of country we'll get if we continue the liberal philosophy that says all things are a right instead of a privilege, that poverty can be solved with handouts instead of work.

Oliver North's philosophy is for less government and individuals taking responsibility for their own actions. It was these principles that made this country great, not welfare or the ever-popular blame game.

Oliver North is the only choice for the U.S. Senate.
