Minerva E. ``Cedie'' Spellman, 96, of the 2800 block of Galberry Road died Nov. 3, 1994.
Mrs. Spellman was born in Norfolk County. She was a member of Emanuel A.M.E. Church, Stewardess Board (NU)3, Parsonage Aid and Venus Chapter Order of Eastern Star (NU)42. She was the widow of Richard A. Spellman Sr.
Survivors include two daughters, Katherine S. Moore and Thelma S. Fisher; a son, Richard A. Spellman, Jr.; six nieces; and seven nephews.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Tuesday at Emanuel A.M.E. Church, Portsmouth, by the Rev. James F. Mason. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Fisher Funeral Home is handling arrangements. The family will be at the residence. The body will be placed in the church at 11 a.m.
