Robert L. Davanzo, 60, of the 2700 block of Shore Drive, a retired construction superintendent, died Nov. 4, 1994, in Sentara Leigh Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Davanzo was born in Youngstown, Ohio, and was a Catholic.
Survivors include his wife, Velma J. Davanzo; two daughters, Mary Margaret Davanzo of Virginia Beach and Kathleen Ann Heineck of Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.; three sons, Donald J. Davanzo of Youngstown, Ohio, and Robert F. Davanzo and Joseph L. Davanzo, both of Virginia Beach; a sister, Patricia A. Beil of Norfolk; and a grandchild, Jonathan.
The family invites all friends in a Celebration of Life memorial service at the beach that will begin at 4:30 p.m. today at the residence. Burial will be private. Friends may join the family at Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday.
