If Gov. George Allen thinks it such a good idea to have law-enforcement officers move into a high-crime area (news, Oct. 28), the thing for him to do is to lead the way.
Would he move his family into any of these areas? I think not.
Our police officers are already overworked and underpaid. What does Allen want, blood?
This idea is insulting to our policemen.
