Irene Marion Marshall, 89, of 5 Lynn Drive, died Nov. 5, 1994, at Parson's Residential Care Center, where she had resided for the past five years.
Mrs. Marshall, a native of Wilkes-Barre, Pa., was formerly employed by the W.T. Grant Company. She was a member of Green Ridge Baptist Church, Scranton, Pa., and was the widow of Lester G. Marshall.
Survivors include two daughters, Marion M. Gardner of Portsmouth and Karen M. Robertson of Atlanta; a son, L. Gordon Marshall of Portsmouth; a son-in-law, Loyed Gardner of Portsmouth; a brother, Jesse H. Davis of Scranton; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A graveside funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Olive Branch Cemetery by Dr. L. Wilbur Kersey. Foster Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Friends may join the family at the home.
