Malinda A. Wilson, 74, of the 5400 block of Bayberry Drive, died Nov. 3, 1994, in her Norfolk residence.
Mrs. Wilson was born in Princess Anne County, Va. She was the widow of Andrew Wilson and was a member of Union Baptist Church, Virginia Beach. She was awarded a plaque for her dedicated service in 1979 from Union Baptist Church, Virginia Beach.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Marion L. Smith of Norfolk and Mrs. Jeanette Edmondson of Seat Pleasant, Md.; a sister, Mrs. Victoria Horne of Brooklyn, N.Y.; two brothers, Willie Gatlin of Franklin and Anthony Gatlin of Virginia Beach; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Wednesday in Union Baptist Church, Virginia Beach, by the Rev. Linwood Daughtry. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park Cemetery, Chesapeake. Viewing will begin today at 3:30 p.m. in T.E. Cooke-Twilight Funeral Home. The body will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
