Norfolk rescue workers worked for most of an hour to free the two
occupants of a car that crashed into a telephone pole in the 1000
block of W. Ocean View Avenue about 2 a.m. today. The driver was
taken in serious condition to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital and a
passenger was taken to DePaul Hospital. No charges had been placed
early this morning. Further information on the conditions of the two
were unknown early today.
