Edith Campbell Brumer, 90, of the 7200 block of Atlantic Ave., died Monday, Nov. 6, 1994, in a Norfolk hospital.
Mrs. Brumer was born in Princess Anne County, Va. She worked for the U.S. Customs Service for many years, as well as the U.S. State Department, where she traveled all over the world on assignment. She later worked for the Norfolk Botanical Garden with Mr. Frederic Heutte.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Virginia Beach, the Chrysler Museum, the Hermitage Auxiliary, and was past president of the Norfolk Society of Arts.
Survivors include a sister-in-law, Mrs. Gordon E. Campbell of Norfolk; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Georgianna V. Brabban. Memorial contributions may be made to your local SPCA. Cox Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
