BERKLEY L. MILLER

Berkley Louis Miller died Nov. 6, 1994, at Halifax Regional Hospital.

He was born in Halifax County, Va., on July 3, 1920, and was 74 years of age. He was the son of Clarence Cabell Miller and Mrs. Sally McKinney Miller, and was married to Elsie Crews Miller. He was a member of Scottsburg United Methodist Church, the Woodmen of the World Camp (NU)106 and a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Elsie Crews Miller of Scottsburg; two daughters, Kathryn M. Stombock of Farmville, Doris M. Miller of Virginia Beach; his mother, Sally M. Miller of South Boston; three brothers, Billy W. Miller of Halifax, Lonnie M. Miller of South Boston and John R. Miller of Richmond; three sisters, Mary M. Richmond and Nellie M. Myers, both of Richmond, and Annie M. Bowers of Baskerville; and two grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Powell Funeral Home, South Boston, by the Rev. Ann Norton. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Scottsburg. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today and other times at his home in Scottsburg.
