Mattie Ruth Pruitt, 68, a retired registered nurse, died Nov. 6, 1994, in Virginia Beach.
She was born in Athens, Ga., and was a Baptist. She was retired from the surgery department of Virginia Beach General Hospital after 30 years.
Survivors include a sister, Mary Barrett of Athens, Ga.; two brothers, Clyde Arnold of Athens and Horace Arnold of Birmingham, Ala.
A graveside service will be at Mizpha Church Memorial Cemetery, Commerce, Ga. Viewing and visitation will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Arrangements are being handled by Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice Unit of Virginia Beach General Hospital.
