Lucille Burrus Mitchell, 77, died Sunday, Nov. 6, 1994, at Virginia Beach General Hospital.
Mrs. Mitchell was born in Hatteras, N.C. She was the widow of Walter Ivan Mitchell. Mrs. Mitchell was a member of Bayside Presbyterian Church and the Order of the Eastern Star, Old Donation Chapter 100, Norfolk.
She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Mitchell (Mrs. George) Kaseote of Alexandria, Va., and Patsy Mitchell (Mrs. Michael) Sharrock of Virginia Beach; two brothers, Dalton Lee Burrus of Chesapeake and William Edgar Burrus of Oviedo, Fla.; five grandchildren, Andrea Louise Kaseote Medina, Steven Mitchell Kaseote, Marguerite Mitchell Sharrock, Christian O'Neal Sharrock Kinney, and Katie Elizabeth Sharrock; and one great-grandchild, Brian Douglas Kinney.
The funeral service will be held at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Road Chapel, on Thursday, Nov. 10, 1994, at 2 p.m. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Richard Keever of Bayside Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m. Memorial gifts may be sent to Hatteras United Methodist Church, Hatteras, N.C.
