Bessie M. Sandler, 81, formerly of Newport News and Norfolk, Va., died Nov. 8, 1994.
She was the wife of the late Alfred H. Sandler and the devoted mother of Marsha Sandler of Rockville, Md., and adoring grandmother of Jeffrey and Neal Hoffman.
Services will be held in Peninsula Funeral Home, 11144 Warwick Blvd., Newport News, Va., on Thursday at 1 p.m. Interment will be in Hampton Hebrew Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to the American Lung Association or the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Danvansky-Goldberg Memorial Chapel, Rockville, Md., is handling arrangements.
