William ``Billy'' Wright Waters II, 24, of the 4000 block of Bridgehampton Lane, died Monday, Nov. 7, 1994, in Virginia Beach.
Billy was affiliated with Old Donation Episcopal Church in Virginia Beach. He was a senior at East Carolina University, where he was studying Pre-Med, and also was a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity, played lacrosse and was an avid surfer.
Survivors include his parents, Patricia C. and John W. Harris Sr. of Virginia Beach and William W. Waters of Chesapeake; two sisters, Tami L. Buisson of Tampa, Fla. and Donna L. White of Chesapeake; three brothers, John W. Harris Jr. of Norfolk, Shawn Harrison and Truett Harrison, both of Chesapeake; maternal grandparents, Alice M. Cramer of Virginia Beach and Russell S. Cramer of Glen Burnie, Md.; paternal grandmothers, Verna B. Waters of Chesapeake and Mary W. Harris of Norfolk; and many other loving family and friends.
A memorial service will be conducted on Thursday at 11 a.m. in Old Donation Episcopal Church by the Rev. Fr. John H. Emmert. Friends may gather with the family tonight from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Old Donation Church parish hall. Cox Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to the ECU Educational Foundation, Student Athletic Scholarship Fund in memory of William W. Waters II, Ward Sports Medicine Building, Greenville, N.C. 27858. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
