Claire H. Malbone, 91, of the 600 block of Redgate Ave., died Nov. 7, 1994, in her residence.
Mrs. Malbone was a retired beautician with W.G. Swartz Company and Rice's Department Store. She was a native of Severn, N.C., and the widow of Cecil E. Malbone. She was a life-long member of Severn Baptist Church in Severn.
Survivors include two nieces, Margaret H. Parker of Roanoke Rapids, N.C. and Carolyn H. Bradshaw of Smithfield, N.C.; three nephews, Angus I. Hines Jr. of Norfolk, Booker V. Pruden of Muskogee, Okla., and Rudolph Howell of Smithfield, N.C.; and a great-niece, Janet Pruden Barnes of Virginia Beach.
A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Donald J. Dunlap. The family will receive friends from 7:30 to 9 p.m. today in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk. Memorial donations may be made to The Eastern Virginia Medical School Foundation, P.O. Box 5, Norfolk, Va. 23501.
