Mrs. Virginia Sexton Williams, 73, of the 700 block of New Jersey Ave., a homemaker, died Nov. 7, 1994, in her home.
Mrs. Williams was born in Norfolk. She was a member of Episcopal Church of the Ascension and the Elizabeth Chapter 45, Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include her husband, Melvin B. Williams of Norfolk; a daughter, Janet Williams McManus of Portsmouth; four sisters, Ethel Milton Christian of Norfolk, Frances McFarland of Virginia Beach, Margaret Killingsworth of Taft, Calif., and Elizabeth ``Betty'' Sexton Harrington of Fredericksburg, Va.; a brother, George L. Sexton of Miami, Fla.; and a granddaughter, April Mary McManus of Portsmouth.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Episcopal Church of the Ascension by the Rev. Mark Delcuze. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, today from 7 to 9 p.m.
