Ellis W. Rogers, 69, of the 8900 block of London St., died Nov. 7, 1994, in a Norfolk hospital.
Mr. Rogers was born in Bear Grass, N.C., and was retired from the Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority. He was a member of Colonial Heights Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Martha E. Rogers; five daughters, Elizabeth Williams of Pine Tops, N.C., Mary Alice Webb and Patricia A. Tatum, both of Norfolk, Wanda M. McCotter of Meriden, Conn., and Karen Lynn Zasada of Jacksonville, Fla.; three sons, Ellis F. Rogers and Charles R. Rogers, both of Norfolk, and Ernest L. Rogers of Reston, Va.; four sisters, Marie Whitehurst, Dorothy Edmondson, Ruth Hunt and Mae Dean Simpson; three brothers, James D. Rogers, Aris R. Rogers and Daniel Rogers; and 17 grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, by Steve Jones. A graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Thursday in Mobley Cemetery, Williamston, N.C. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
