Raymond Pergee, 68, of the 1800 block of Springfield Ave., a retired truck driver, died Nov. 7, 1994, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
Mr. Pergee was born in Richfield, N.C., and was a former member of New Calvary Baptist Church. He was retired from the Naval Amphibious Base after 34 years and was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Beatrice E. Pergee; a daughter, Ray Pergee McCray of Norfolk; two aunts; several uncles; a host of nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Quinton P. and Essie Pergee.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Hale Funeral Home by the Rev. Richard A. Councill. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. The family will assemble at his residence, 1804 Springfield Ave.
