THOMAS E. CHAMBERLIN

Thomas E. Chamberlin, 77, of Virginia Beach, died Wednesday, Nov. 9, 1994.

He was born in Detroit and had been a Virginia Beach resident for 14 years. Mr. Chamberlin retired as a Captain from the U.S. Air Force in 1953. Afterwards he began working for General Motors. He retired as an engineer from GM in 1981 after 30 years of service.

He is survived by his wife, Jane H. Chamberlin; his daughter, Barbara Mallen of Danby, Vt.; two sons, Donald E. Chamberlin of Burtonsville, Md. and John Chamberlin of Honolulu; his sister, Virginia Jaikins of Tennessee; and two grandsons.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home in Hampton. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home by the Rev. Eddie G. Heath. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens.
