Ronald Richard DePanfilis, 61, of the 2100 block of Trawler Court, a sales representative and consultant, died Tuesday, Nov. 8, 1994, in his residence.
Mr. DePanfilis was born in Ridgway, Pa., and was a Roman Catholic. He was employed with Modern Dispersions Inc. He was a member of the St. Leo's High School Alumni Association, American Legion Post 151, and was a Navy veteran of the Korean conflict.
Survivors include his wife, Doris DePanfilis; two daughters, Jayne DePanfilis of Kill Devil Hills, N.C., and Cara DePanfilis of Harrisonburg, Pa.; a son, Richard DePanfilis of Virginia Beach; four sisters, Marie Morelli, Beatrice Bomba, Theresa Geitner and Geraldine Zappa, all of Ridgway, Pa. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Francis, John, Joseph and James DePanfilis.
Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, is in charge of local arrangements. The body is being sent to Meehan-Shilk Funeral Home, Ridgway, Pa. A Mass of the Resurrection will be conducted Saturday in St. Leo's Catholic Church with interment in Parklawn Cemetery. The family requests that memorials be made to Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters.
