Lovie Pritchard Forbes, 86, died Wednesday, Nov. 9, 1994, in Hillhaven of Alamance in Graham.
Mrs. Forbes was born in Pasquotank County, N.C., and was a homemaker. She was a member of Haw River Christian Church. She was the wife of Samuel Roy Forbes, who died in 1989, and was the daughter of the late Martin L. and Nancy Linton Pritchard.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Peggy Mason of Graham; a son, Sam L. Forbes of Elizabeth City; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Westlawn Memorial Park, Elizabeth City, by the Rev. Larry Benson. The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Home in Graham from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday and other times at the residence of Mrs. Peggy Mason, 1813 S. Main St., Graham. Memorials may be made to the Haw River Christian Church, 415 Roxboro St., Haw River, N.C. 27258.
