Dr. Andrew R. Bird (D.D. and L.L.D.), died Nov. 9, 1994, at his home in Sterling.
He was a former Presbyterian minister at the First Presbyterian Church of Norfolk, Va.
Survivors include his wife, Ellen L. Bird; one daughter, Pamelia B. Sanderlin of Falls Church, Va.; four sons, Andrew R. Bird III of Sterling, James R. Bird of Oakton, Va., Rev. Timothy E. Bird of Raleigh, N.C., and John F. Bird of Sterling. He is also survived by five grandchildren; one sister, Imogene B. Preston of Pebble Beach, Calif.; one brother, Walter M. Bird of McLean, Va.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. The family will receive friends at Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden St., Herndon, Va. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Trinity Presbyterian Church, Herndon, Va. A private family interment service will be in Rock Creek Cemetery, Washington, D.C.
