George T. Myers, 83, of the 1200 block of Westover Ave., died Nov. 9, 1994, in a Norfolk hospital.
Mr. Myers, a native of Norfolk, was the widower of Carrie M. Myers. He was a retired executive with General Electic Co. after 25 years of service upon returning to Norfolk in 1965. He was associated with Lum's Hardware for many years.
Mr. Myers attended Norfolk Academy and Fishburn Military Academy and was a graduate in electrical engineering from the University of Wisconsin. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, and was also a Mason.
Survivors include a sister, Ela Myers Dolliver of San Francisco; and two nephews, Dwight Alan Dolliver and John F. Eikelbarner, both of San Francisco.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk, by the Rev. Irwin M. Lewis Jr. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
