Polly Bugg Rittenhouse, 78, of the 100 block of Roberts Court, a retired clerk, died Nov. 11, 1994 in Autumn Care of Suffolk.
Mrs. Rittenhouse was born in Albermarle County, Va. She retired from Oak Ridge Pharmacy, was the widow of Henry Aubrey Rittenhouse and a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church, Suffolk. She was the daughter of the late Willie Anne Maxwell Bugg and Samuel Lee Bugg. She was predeceased by a sister, Gladys B. Straw who died on Nov. 5.
Survivors include a daughter, Willie Anne Winslow and son-in-law Frank M. Winslow; two granddaughters, Katherine W. Norris and Charlotte W. Copeland; and a great-granddaughter, Heather N. Benton, all of Suffolk.
A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Clyde Nuckols. The family will receive friends at Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
