Lloyd Merle Askew, 90, of Route 1, Box 95, a retired farmer, died Nov. 10, 1994 in Roanoke Chowan Hospital.
Mr. Askew was born in Hertford County, N.C. He was a member of Christian Harbor Baptist Church and Wiccacon Masonic Lodge (NU)240.
Survivors include a sister, Dorothy Askew, and a sister-in-law, Charlotte Askew, both of Harrellsville; nephews, Eddie Askew and Timothy Askew, both of Harrellsville; and a niece, Judy Hunter of Anderson, S.C.
A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. today at Christian Harbor Baptist Church, Harrellsville, by the Rev. Jimmy Cone and the Rev. Tommy Faulk. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Colerain. Garrett Funeral Home, Ahoskie, is handling arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the Masonic Home for Children, Inc., 600 College St., Oxford, NC 27565 or the Grand Chapter O.E.S., c/o Mason's and Eastern Star Home, P.O.
