Three children who were injured Thursday when a car driven by a 17-year-old went out of control were treated at a hospital. None was reported to have critical injuries.
Danielle Scott, 13, of the 1300 block of Lake James Drive was released from Sentara Norfolk General Hospital Thursday.
The others were identified as Arron Brown, 12, of the 5600 block of Rushmere Drive and Niketa Savage, 11, of the 1400 block of Lake James Drive.
Both were listed in stable condition Friday night at Norfolk General.
The accident happened about 7:30 a.m. Thursday in the 1400 block of Lake James Drive.
Police said a 1987 Dodge driven by Kelly Reas, 17, of the 1000 block of Wessex Lane went out of control when she failed to negotiate a curve in the road.
The car hit a curb and ran into a yard, hit the children and then crashed into a house.
Police said alcohol was not a factor in the crash. Reas was charged with reckless driving.
