The winner of a Tai Collins look-alike contest says she was misled about the competition and regrets entering.
James Madison University student Sandi Woodin won $50 in the election eve roast of Sen. Charles S. peccadilloes.
But she also was told by her student teaching coordinator that if she had already been a full-time teacher she could have been fired for participating in the bawdy contest.
Collins is the beauty queen who gave Robb a nude massage and later posed for Playboy magazine.
``I understand how Sandi would be concerned that people in the community might perceive this as a future teacher engaging in an inappropriate action, which I personally disagree with,'' said Scott Pinsker, president of the JMU College Republicans, sponsors of the event.
Woodin said she was not fully informed about the contest.
``All I thought, I was going to show up, stand in a line and they would say whether I looked like (Collins) or not,'' she said.
Each contestant, three women and four men dressed in women's clothes, wore a banner highlighting a criticism of Robb.
Woodin wore a banner that read ``Miss Taxhike.'' by CNB
