HARMONY PRODUCTS' SALES DROP: Harmony Products Inc., a Chesapeake-based organic fertilizer manufacturer, said net sales for the quarter ending Sept. 30 dropped by $304,000, or 61 percent, compared with the same quarter a year ago. The company blamed the decrease on the absence of $265,000 in sales of a specialty fertilizer product sold on the agricultural market. (Staff)
BANK OF SUFFOLK DECLARES DIVIDEND: Bank of Suffolk declared an annual dividend of 50 cents per share. The dividend is payable Dec. 2 to shareholders of record Nov. 15.
CENTRAL VIRGINIA BANKSHARES INC. DECLARES DIVIDEND: Central Virginia Bankshares Inc., based in Powhatan, declared, on Nov. 8, a regular quarterly cash dividend of 15 cents per share of common stock. The dividend is payable December 15 to shareholders of record November 18.
