Jennie Jordan, 99, of the 4500 block of Church Point Place, died Nov. 11, 1994 in Sentara Bayside Hospital.
Mrs. Jordan was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She was a retired Catholic schoolteacher in New York City after 30 years and a member of St. Gregory Catholic Church, Virginia Beach. She was the widow of Louis F. Jordan.
Survivors include two daughters, Helen T. Cinnamon of Virginia Beach and Magdalen Hernandez of Knightsville, N.C.; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
A burial service will be held later in the week at St. Charles Cemetery, Long Island, N.Y. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel. There will be a prayer service at 7 p.m.
