EARL E. HARRELL SR.

Earl Elmo Harrell, Sr. of the 300 block of W. 35th St., Apt. A, died Nov. 10, 1994 in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

Mr. Harrell was born in Chesapeake. He was a retired Norfolk schoolteacher and a professional butcher. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church, (NU)1 Usher Board and Pastor's Aide and a member of Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity. He earned his bachelor's degree in industrial arts from Norfolk State University and was an honor student.

Survivors include his wife, Gayle Harrell of Virginia Beach; a daughter, Kimberly Harrell of New York; two sons, Earl Harrell, Jr. of New York and Eric Harrell of Virginia Beach; his mother, Virginia Harrell of Norfolk; two sisters, Marcella Coles and Veronica Tutwiler, both of Norfolk; and four brothers, Marvin Harrell and Willie Harrell, Jr., both of Alabama, Dallas Harrell of Norfolk and Steven Harrell of Chesapeake.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Tuesday at Bethany Baptist Church, Chesapeake, by the Rev. Jake Manley. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home, Norfolk, is handling arrangements. The remains will be ready for viewing at 3 p.m. Monday. The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. Tuesday. The family will assemble at 4857 Beamon Road, Norfolk, at 11 a.m. for the processional and to receive relatives and friends.
