Jacqueline Edwards Bridges, 42, of the 2400 block of Ballentine Blvd., a child-care aid, died Friday, Nov. 11, 1994, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
Mrs. Bridges was born in Norfolk and the daughter of William H. Edwards Sr. and Ruth Dempsey Edwards. She was formerly employed at Saint Mary's Infant Home. She was a member of New Calvary Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a daughter, Precious W. Bridges; three sons, William H. Bridges, Michael Bridges and Dominique Bridges, all of Norfolk; two sisters, Ossie Lightfoot and Betty Patterson; a granddaughter, Marquetta Watson; three aunts, Rufae Brittle, Bertha Copito and Gladys Herring; a niece, nephews and other relatives and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in New Calvary Baptist Church by the Rev. G.G. Campbell. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be Tuesday from 2 to 8 p.m. in Riddick Funeral Service. The body will be placed in the church at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. The family will be at 2440 Ballentine Blvd.
