A Norfolk man died Sunday at Virginia Beach General Hospital, a day after he was run over by his own car.
Charles W. Sarver, 59, of the 4800 block of Pleasant Ave., was checking underneath the hood of his car after it stalled Saturday evening on Great Neck Road near Upper Chelsea Reach, police said. His car was struck from behind by a car driven by Jennifer L. Kuchno, 24, of Richmond.
Sarver had been on life support in the Trauma Center. He died at 7:55 p.m. Sunday from massive head injuries.
Kuchno was charged with reckless driving, police said.
